POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for improving organizational performance and delivering strategic analysis that enables data driven decision making by leveraging data sets derived primarily from the ERP system. Accountable for maintaining optimized inventory levels and supply chain planning through the collection of product information data from key functional stakeholders at multiple sites and ensuring its accurate entry into the ERP system. The Business Analyst will use this data to assess production processes and systems for continuous improvement opportunities. Additionally, they will provide analysis and modeling in support of business planning in areas such as sales & margin analysis, demand planning & forecasting, capacity & capital equipment planning, scheduling, headcount/manpower planning etc.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Additional REQUIRED Qualifications/Skills:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Management, Data Analytics, Business Management or similar field.
2. Five years of experience in material and/or manufacturing planning and analysis or equivalent. Broad knowledge of supply/demand process.
3. Demonstrated ability in the areas of analytical thinking, cost-benefit analysis, interpersonal & Communication skills, as well as development of KPI’s/metrics.
Additional PREFERRED Qualifications/Skills:
1. APICS certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply chain Professional (CSCP) a plus.
2. Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification a plus.
