Supply Chain Director jobs in Youngstown, OH

This role would be part of a trusted team and report to the Director of Purchasing and is responsible for purchasing, negotiating, and ensuring supply for production for day-to-day materials, packaging supplies, as well as parts and equipment.

Purchasing for Manufacturing:

• Manage, maintain and reorder packaging categories such as Cartons, Labels, Glass as assigned by Director of Purchasing
  
• Create purchase orders in conjunction with Maintenance & Purchasing dept for equipment and parts as needed
  
• Track outstanding purchase orders, re-date, and follow up as needed.
  
• Ensure consistent supply for production while balancing appropriate inventory levels
  
• Lead sourcing efforts on assigned categories 
  

Manage Fixed Assets in conjunction with Accounting & Maintenance/Engineering

• Process and code PCard receipts for Maintenance to Accounts Payable
  
• PaperSave invoice coding (Freight/Duty)
  
• Track invoices, validate and approve for payment
  
• Enter and maintain accurate record keeping into Facility Management software (ManagerPlus)
  

Corporate Purchasing:

• Manage company-wide purchases of supplies and equipment (PPE, company branded apparel, uniforms etc.)
  
• Lead the sourcing of these categories and negotiate price, MOQ, and quality
  
• Negotiate favorable terms for equipment purchases
  
• Coordinate with all department heads
