Here's where you come in.The Supply Planning Manager will lead the Northeast regional Supply Planning & Inventory Tracking efforts for Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They will oversee the production scheduling for finished goods and cultivation planning with the partnership of demand planning, operations, supply chain, and enterprise cultivation. The Regional Supply Planning manager will also analyze weekly growing/processing reporting metrics and report back to supply chain and other pertinent leadership. The supply planning manager will manage the state-level supply planners, provide vacation coverage for state level supply planning tasks, and develop the skills and competency of the supply planning team. The Regional Supply Planning manager will be responsible for long range supply planning and inventory planning, linking back market insights and analysis from demand planning, marketing, and commercial to inform canopy allocations.You will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically to ensure our supply plan supports our commercial goals and will help identify and mitigate gaps such as extended out of stocks or excess supply in comparison to demand.One minute you will be reviewing production reports and working with the demand planning team to ensure strain pipelines align with commercial strategy.The next minute preparing a supply and demand analysis to share with various cross functional partners across the Northeast region.And the next minute collaborating with other Supply Chain team members to improve automations relating to the Inventory Roll model.Regardless of the task, it's critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you'll work with diverse departments and stakeholders across the organization.Where you'll be planted:This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to on-site activities including but not limited to PA, MD, NJ grow sites and regional offices.To be blunt... Year 1 is going to be about:
- Liaising and coordinating between all business functions: production, cultivation, warehousing, sales, marketing, finance, accounting, procurement
- Maintaining and analyzing trend reporting and report out to management, consolidate state level reports to region-level
- Directly managing Supply Planner in each state to create consistencies and sustainability in reporting and process, train and develop Supply Planners (3 direct reports)
- Overseeing completion of weekly and monthly production planning tasks efficiently, effectively, and accurately (schedule to demand plan and in-stock of all active SKUs)
- Weekly Non-Flower Finished Goods production, weekly Flower Packaging, Machine inputs & scheduling for non-flower, cultivation planning & biomass allocation
- Long range canopy and cultivation planning to ensure strain pipeline aligns with commercial direction & operational feasibility
- Utilizing operations experience, strong leadership skills and a highly motivated character to establish efficient SOP's
- Leading and assisting ongoing implementation of supply chain software, ie. Seed to sale, ERP/MRP, B2B order/fulfillment
- Regional representative and owner for state level Supply review monthly as part of S&OP process ramp-up
- Owner of Supply side of Inventory Roll model for forward looking inventory projections based on allocation of biomass & projected demand
- Overseeing management Finished Goods Inventory Process and daily Inventory Posting process in B2B marketplace
- Ensuring perpetual finished goods inventory accuracy is maintained in all states
- Enhancing and maintain positive communications with our sales operations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Collaborate as needed to drive optimal productivity; foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued

- 5 years of supply chain, supply planning, S&OP experience - Cannabis, Agriculture, CPG planning a plus
- Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop team.
- Advanced Excel skills MANDATORY - Vlookup, Pivot Tables, analysis of large datasets, data visualization in Excel, Tableau, Power BI
- Experience managing finished goods inventory in B2B marketplace at SKU level
- Heavy experience in; LeafTrade orLeaflink, METRC
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of the role of supply chain within the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence others on behalf of supply chain team interests
- Ability to communicate complex information in a digestible format across various modes (email, phone, video conferencing) and levels of the organization (front line production team as well as executive leadership)
- Proven skills in implementing and leading supply chain excellence
- Strong understanding of technology, inventory software systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), state required compliance software, applicable metrics working within a data driven environment.
