Supply Chain Manager manages the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Being a Supply Chain Manager leads coordination activities with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Resolves bottlenecks or problem areas in the supply chain. Additionally, Supply Chain Manager monitors suppliers and service providers for quality and performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Supply Chain Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Supply Chain Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Complete inspections weekly for all stations in the assigned region. Inspections include, but are not limited to, all facilities and
    grounds as well as all fleet assets.
    • Reports to the Director of Logistics on findings, makes recommendations and executes actions based on best practice
    standards and prescribed initiatives.
    • Inspects all facilities and fleet assets with adherence to current OSHA compliant standards and regulations.
    • Oversees materials management, logistics, supply chain, and stock rooms for assigned stations.
    • Maintains strict compliance with all Pafford Policies & Procedures.
    • Maintains strict compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by the state and federal programs.
    • May perform other related duties or task as assigned.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • Must be of upstanding moral and ethical character.
    • Must be a highly motivated self-starter
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Must be proficient in use of the English language.
    • Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
    • Experience in logistics and/or supply chain management preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external
    customers.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary
    customer service.
    • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed
    routines, and standard accepted practices.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
    and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
    • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Work may require sitting, near vision use for reading and computer use, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing,
    pushing, pulling, reaching, and other physical exertion.
    • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
    • Must possess visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, perform accounting functions, operate a computer terminal,
    operate a motor vehicle, and do extensive reading.
