The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of
Supply Chain Analyst within the department of
OE. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives. The division is a major contributor of revenue to the University's mission and employs the largest number of staff on campus with over 1,200 full-time, part-time, temporary, and on-call staff.

Why this position?
This position will use comprehensive knowledge of the technology systems and the food industry to help achieve and attain goals and objectives for the UEE. They will conduct cuttings with our culinary groups in conjunction with the Culinary Operations Specialist ensuring products are presented, tested, and information is reviewed to allow for the correct analysis of the products. This position will be tasked with reviewing and analyzing product usage throughout the UEE's food outlets to ensure for correct use of program products, and that items are used that are menued to ensure no allergic reactions are encountered through product oversight. This position will provide back up to the systems information regarding the building blocks of NetMenu, and will review all items not tied to Campus Dining to ensure correct allergens and nutritional data follow the products. As a sourcing liaison, this position is expected to facilitate excellent working relationships
with suppliers, operating units, and staff. They will be the point person for all conversations regarding product updates, changes, or order guide questions, and will help with RFP's, product searches, and additional Supply Chain tasks within UEE. The position report to the Director for Sourcing and Sustainability, and will be expected to work in collaboration with other sourcing, culinary, dieticians, retail, accounting and administrative staff to achieve the best results for UEE. The position will be required to support more than one project or functional area within the division at any one time, depending on departmental needs and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree
- Experience: 1 to 2 years
- Restaurant, or Business related degree preferred, but could describe how other degree ties into work.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to multitask.
- Excellent math and computer skills.
- Ability to interpret how data is utilized and to identify trends and problems in data.
- Ability to work independently and only need to refer problems and questions to supervisor or subject matter expert.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with staff at all levels. Proficiency with food knowledge, food specifications culinary nomenclature, culinary math, etc
- Comprehensive knowledge of the food management industry including administrative, culinary, nutrition, sanitation and allergen components.
- Knowledge of data analytics, to provide reporting and visualization, as well as ability to quickly pick up new software, and skill set to be the superuser.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to obtain nutrition certifications, Aller U and ServSafe next time it is offered on campus, as well as BuyND training. Learn NetMenu, NetNutrition, and have a strong working knowledge of data analytics software such as Tableau.
