The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, and distribution of the company’s goods across three U.S. manufacturing locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works in cooperation with Axel Group Purchasing Manager in Sweden to set and implement strategies.
Works with the Technical Team to help identify and qualify alternative and new raw materials.
Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product
launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement
Be familiar with and support the effort of implementing the quality policy and ISO 9001 and IATF
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Provides direct and indirect supervision to approximately 8 employees including Purchasing, Shipping and receiving and Inventory control personnel in the three U.S. locations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; issuing rewards and performance correction; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Three years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required. Certifications such as Six Sigma, CSCP, CPSM a plus.
