Director - Clinical Support - Accrediation

  • MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a full-time experienced Director of Clinical Support Services. This employee functions as a liaison for the CEO and Regional Managers on all clinical and operational issues. The employee will also assist with company QA program, technical/clinical quality oversight, policy development, clinical orientations, quality issues, and accreditation of labs.

    MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Assisting with clinical policy development
    • Assisting with clinical review of policy/procedure manuals and updates
    • Assisting in development of clinical operations protocols
    • Training program development, including clinical orientation programs
    • Assisting with AASM, ACHC, and Joint Commission Accreditation application processes and oversight, including application completion and site visit preparation, with the support of Area Managers and the management team
    • Conducting site visits in areas for clinical compliance, operational policy compliance, and technical services compliance
    • Monthly in-service organization and oversight, including arranging topics, speakers, submitting and receiving BRPT CEC approval, recording and posting of programs online, and reporting attendance to Area Managers
    • Physician interpretation template development
    • Working with Area Managers on technical and scoring quality issues and scoring productivity
    • Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance programming, including but not limited to:
    • Accreditation QA support
    • Scoring quality oversight
    • Acquisition quality oversight
    • Maintaining strict confidentiality

    Job Requirements:

    • RPSGT certification from an accredited program for respiratory therapy or cardiopulmonary discipline, with attainment of registry, A.S. or B.S. in healthcare/business related field
    • Current RPSGT certification
    • Current state applicable licensure and Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care as an “RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)” with current applicable state license preferred
    • Minimum of three years experience in sleep medicine preferred and/or in health care industry, health benefits, or procurement
    • Ability to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear
    • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision abilities, and the ability to adjust focus
    • Use of hands to operate office equipment
    • Regular lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds; frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
