Support Services Director - Healthcare jobs in Clearwater, FL
Support Services Director - Healthcare oversees the health care facility's support services departments. Areas supervised may include laundry, housekeeping, food services, safety, facilities, and maintenance. Being a Support Services Director - Healthcare manages the development and administration of the provider organization's policies and procedures as they pertain to support services. Develops, implements, and administers the effective, efficient, and safe operation of nonclinical support activities. Additionally, Support Services Director - Healthcare may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Support Services Director - Healthcare typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Director of Medical Surgical to fill an opening with a well-known Hospital in Largo, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for the Director of Medical Surgical:- Creating and implementing programs for continuous quality improvement, maintaining resources and staffing, promoting interdisciplinary teamwork, and employing measures to prevent adverse patient outcomes
- Commitment to achieving hospital-wide goals for care quality, safety, and service excellence
- Monday- Friday, 7 am-4 pm schedule
Required Qualifications for the Director of Medical Surgical:- Nursing diploma or ASN required
- Must have Manager Level Acute Care Experience
- Recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (within the last 2-3 years)
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Medical Surgical:- BSN preferred

Pay Details: $108,000 - $158,000 (depending on years of experience)
