Job description:
Forklift experience is required: 2 years (preferably)
1) Perform daily checklist before operating lift trucks
2) Reports all equipment issues or concerns immediately on checklist to the supervisor.
3) Check for daily needs at each machine.
4) Remove bales from the balers.
5) Unload incoming raw material .
6) Load rolls coming off machine going to offsite warehouse.
7) Make sure Reclaim bays are straight and neat.
8) Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the area and warehouse.
9) Interact professionally and in a courteous manner with all personnel.
10) Follow all safety guidelines.
11) Addressing all issues in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer.
12) Representing LACOSTA in a professional, reliable and integrity based manner at all times.
13) Identify and improve upon opportunities to increase the efficiencies and productivity of operations.
14) Actively participate in correct and complete tie out communications with incoming shift change.
15) Other duties as assigned.
