Support Services Director - Healthcare jobs in Syracuse, NY
Support Services Director - Healthcare oversees the health care facility's support services departments. Areas supervised may include laundry, housekeeping, food services, safety, facilities, and maintenance. Being a Support Services Director - Healthcare manages the development and administration of the provider organization's policies and procedures as they pertain to support services. Develops, implements, and administers the effective, efficient, and safe operation of nonclinical support activities. Additionally, Support Services Director - Healthcare may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Support Services Director - Healthcare typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Daily Responsibilities for Resident Services Assistant (Caregiver):- Assisting residents in an assisted living facility with ADLs such as bathing, feeding, toileting, light laundry
Required Qualifications for Resident Services Assistant (Caregiver):- 6 months previous caregiving experience
Preferred Qualifications for Resident Services Assistant (Caregiver):- Experience working in long term care
- Active NY CNA license
