Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator is responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing. Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT equipment. Being a Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator monitors and maintains equipment to meet company standards. May be responsible for quality assurance and documentation. Additionally, Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Scope of work CNC laser operators cut parts that meet customer expectations by computer data entry, using measuring tools (caliper, square or tapes) to ensure size specifications are met. Skilled machine operators are trained to make offset adjustments as needed; they change tooling and do quality checks throughout the production process. No need to bring your own tools or measuring devices, we provide what is needed!
Moving Material PDF has bridge, jib and gantry type cranes as well as forklifts. PDF strives to achieve ergonomic work flows throughout stages of production. 50 lbs. is the maximum weight that is lifted/moved by hand. Machine operators will operate a crane to move material greater than 50 lbs. or that is awkward to lift by hand. Forklift training is provided onsite.
