Surgeon - Burn jobs in Fort Wayne, IN

Surgeon - Burn examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with burns from heat, cold, chemical, or electrical incidents. Performs escharectomy, skin grafting, and secondary burn surgery. Being a Surgeon - Burn reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Burn may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Burn Table Operator/Material Handler

  • Seeking experience candidates for Burn Table Operator positions located in Fort Wayne, IN. Candidates with experience in metal fabrication, machine operation, welding, CNC or related position are encouraged to apply.

    Identify paperwork/work order documents and create a plan of how each order will fit on table.

    Select and execute proper material handling procedures using various equipment: chains assembly with plate hooks, or plate dog, magnet, spreader bar to place material safely on table as needed.

    Locate material on floor, locate material in staging, home location or plate drop racks

    Select proper consumables for torch depending on material to be cut and desired edge.

    Clean scrap slag off finished parts as they are cut, stack parts on skid.

    Label skid with work order number, customer name, PO number as required.

    Remove all scrap from table and place finished order in staging area as required, maintaining a clean and safe work area. Perform quality checks during production and coordinate with supervisor when problems arise.

    Perform additional duties as assign by management.

    Requirements

    Ability to read tape measures.

    Computer savvy with basic understanding of computers.

    Must be able to work overtime.

    Must be a self-starter.

    Good communication skills with all shifts

    Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50-75lbs at times

    Must have steel toe boots, be able to pass a drug screen and physical
