Technician General Summary

This position will be responsible for the daily operation of the burn-in area, but not limited to; the loading and unloading of lots, validation of hardware configuration, maintenance of equipment and hardware, and generation of new documentation and basic hardware.

Technician Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing Burn In-Circuit Schematics
• Reading and interpreting Schematic Diagrams 
• Loading and unloading of production lots. 
• Updating lot-specific information into the MES system. 
• Planning and managing existing capacity and WIP backlog. 
• Validating existing and new hardware configurations. 
• Soldering of basic hardware such as static drivers or program cards. 
• Repair of Burn-in Hardware, Burn In Boards, Equipment 

• Maintaining equipment and ordering Burn In supplies.
• Generating TSE programs. 
• Supporting the test floor as required. 

Technician Qualifications

• ASEE or equivalent 
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing/Burn In experience preferred, but not required. 
• Must have the ability to read electrical diagrams and drawings. 
• Must have solid computer and telephone skills
• Prior knowledge of any of the following pieces of equipment is preferred:
  • Multi-meters 
  • Oscilloscopes 
  • Power supplies 
  • Soldering Iron 
  • Burn In chambers 
  • TSE Burn in Tester 
  • Assorted Bench Equipment
