Surgeon - Burn examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with burns from heat, cold, chemical, or electrical incidents. Performs escharectomy, skin grafting, and secondary burn surgery. Being a Surgeon - Burn reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Burn may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Summary:
Perform the duties necessary to process semiconductor devices through the burn-in area using standard bench equipment and burn-in chambers in compliance with established methods and procedures. Assist in the design and development of all necessary burn-in hardware and software. Possess essential basic troubleshooting skills. Communicate with test engineering about issues impeding production through the department and assist with issue resolution.
