May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice.     Job Summary:

    Parkridge Health System in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a board certified / board eligible cardiothoracic surgeon to join an established cardiac group.

    Qualified Candidates:
    • Board certified or board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery
    • A physician leader interested in advancing an STS 2-star program to a 3-star program; medical director opportunity
    • 3 years’ experience preferred but not required  
    • Current and historical STS data and case logs
    Incentive/Benefits Package:
    • Employment with HCA physician services group
    • Call schedule is 1:2
    • Team includes an additional cardiovascular surgeon, an advanced heart failure specialist, interventional cardiologist, a structural heart interventionalist, 2 EP cardiologists, advanced cardiac imaging specialist, one general cardiologist and several APP's
