Due to practice growth, Radiology Associates of South Florida, a large multi-specialty radiology practice in Miami, FL, is seeking a fellowship-trained board certified/eligible Radiologist with expertise in Cardiac, Cardio-Thoracic, or Cardiovascular radiology to join and support our growing team-orientated practice dedicated to providing a full range of high-quality imaging and professional radiology services. The ideal candidate will be expected to read all Cardio-Thoracic imaging, along with a focus in Advanced Cardiac CT, MRI, and Thoracic Body Imaging. This opportunity is being offered as a full-time day shift position with some evening, weekend, and holiday shift requirements. We have one of the busiest dedicated Coronary CTA programs in the country covering six Hospitals and several Imaging Centers. Coronary CTA cases range from patients presenting with acute chest pain from the Emergency Department; outpatients presenting with stable angina and/or non-diagnostic stress test and a strong prevention program using Calcium score among other indications. Our primary site is Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute at Baptist Hospital of Miami. A Radiologist specialized in Thoracic or Body Imaging is a plus as we have a busy Lung CT screening Program and a full Onco-Radiology program affiliated with Miami Cancer Institute @ Baptist Health of South Florida.
Baptist Health of South Florida has strong services in cardiology and cardiac and thoracic surgery (Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute), in oncology (Miami Cancer Institute) and in pulmonology and critical care. Our group has close collaborative relationships with referring services, and its contributions to several multidisciplinary conferences per week are highly valued by our clinical colleagues.
There’s an opportunity to apply for faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant professor, Associate Professor or Full professor at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University (FIU). Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
