Surgeon - Heart Transplant examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with end-stage cardiac disease. Surgically replaces a diseased or damaged heart with a healthy heart. Being a Surgeon - Heart Transplant reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving the desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Heart Transplant may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. JOB DUTIES
Provides non-medical services and assistance to the ill, disabled, or vulnerable individual to enable them to stay in their residence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have completed an Agency orientation/training.
Must be in good physical health; free from health problems that may be injurious to client, self and co-workers and must present appropriate evidence to substantiate.
Must understand and respect clients, including ethics and confidentiality of service and have a sympathetic attitude toward providing services for clients.
Must have maturity, emotional and mental stability and experience in home care services.
Must have criminal background clearance.
Must have a valid Food Handlers Card.
Must have current CPR certification.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and Insurance if performing transportation duties.
