More than 200 physicians are employed with Altru crossing 44 specialties and serving a referral population of over 225,000 residents in in northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. As the first member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, Altrus providers have access to clinically integrated tools extending Mayo Clinics knowledge and expertise to patients. 

Position: Orthopedic Surgeon at Altru Specialty Center, Grand Forks, ND 

Our surgery team at Altru Specialty Center is comprised of and known for: 

• 200 Altru physicians  
  • 5 surgeons  
    • 2 orthopedic surgeons 
    • 2 orthopedic trauma surgeons 
    • 1 hand surgeon  
  • 5 orthopedic surgery APPs 
• M-F with 1 OR day to start, can move over time to 2 OR days with 1:4 weekend only call 
• Dedicated core staff in the OR 
• Caseload: 400 annually 
• Equipment available:  
  • Stryker Mako Robotic Arm. 
• Procedures required: joint replacement, arthroplasty 

Compensation and Benefits: 

• Salary guarantee or wRVUs, whichever is greater 
• Sign on bonus

• Paid malpractice insurance, including tail coverage 
• Relocation allowance
