Surgeon - Neurology examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats disorders of the brain, spine, spinal cord, and nerves. Operates on the brain in order to relieve pressure in an intracranial hemorrhage, remove a foreign body such as a tumor, treat a wound, or relieve pain. Being a Surgeon - Neurology operates on the spine in order to free entrapped nerves, correct deformity, or restore spinal stability. Reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Additionally, Surgeon - Neurology determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. May provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. We are searching for a personable, self-motivated, and productive Oral Surgeon who shares these same goals.

    Technology: Our modern, streamlined clinic facilities are currently using the most desirable, cutting-edge OS technological equipment and supplies, including digital imaging, as well as cone-beam CT imaging to help treat the most complex cases. This provides more predictable outcomes and successful treatments.

    Insurance Plans & Rates: We can secure a high level of reimbursement for services because we are part of a larger group. We work monthly to increase insurance rates, which in turn, increases your overall income. We also handle all credentialing for new associate doctors. and partner doctors.

    Referrals: Susquehanna Oral Surgery has a great reputation and is well-known statewide for being a leader in oral surgery for a number of years. Our doctors have always been very active in the dental community through organized dental groups, dental schools, and charitable organizations, and that tradition continues.     Requirements:

    The doctor is required to hold a DDS or DMD degree and be certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from ADA accredited programs as well as a license in the state of Pennsylvania.
