Reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Additionally, Surgeon - Oral provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. May provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Surgeon - Oral's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Essential Qualifications:
    • Hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree
    • Certification through The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
    • A valid CT state license for oral surgery
    • Acquaintance with computer systems (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • An innate ability to work under pressure while exuding a calming presence for our patients
    • Demonstrated capability for both independent decision-making and collaborative team interactions
