Performs surgical procedures to immobilize fractures by using corrective devices such as braces, pins, casts, and splints. Being a Surgeon - Orthopedic reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Orthopedic may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to a medical director. Requires a license to practice. Salary: This position is an employed position with a generous compensation package. A commencement bonus of up to $100,000 is offered, along with a residency stipend, relocation allowance, medical education debt reimbursement, CME allowances and bonuses. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team and provide superior care to our patients. You will have access to two DaVinci Robots and have a large primary care referral base. You will also have the potential to join a 1:6 call for emergency department cases.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, treat and manage orthopedic injuries
• Perform surgery as necessary
• Develop treatment plans for orthopedic diagnoses
• Educate patients on medical conditions and treatments
• Monitor patient progress
• Ensure patient safety
Qualifications:
• Must possess a valid medical license
• Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery (ORS)
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Proven patient care experience
