Pediatric Medical Assistant

Simi Pediatric Partners is a growing pediatric practice in Simi Valley, California. We see children of all ages for both well exams and sick visits. We are searching for a pediatric medical assistant to help with working up patients, administering vaccinations, and performing various laboratory studies.

Requirements:

• Certification and Registration as a Pediatric Medical Assistant
• Experience
• References

Responsibilities:

• Work up patients for physical exams (take measurements, check vision, check hearing, check blood pressure, check pulse, check pulse-ox)
• Administer immuizations
• Take a history for patients for sick visits and perform necessary lab testing (strep test, urine dips, etc.)
• Submit necessary referrals to specialists
• Make appointments for patients to see physician
• Maintain and keep updated all medical records and documentation pertaining to the patients.
• Assists Office Manager with front desk duties if necessary
