Surgical Based Physician’s office seeking Certified Medical Assistant

• Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience with electronic health records and excellent typing skill necessary.
• During clinic days, assist the Physician with interviewing patients, taking histories and entering clinical information into patient’s charts.
• Ensure documentation in medical charts is accurate and complete.
• Set up office procedures and clean/sterilize office instruments.
• Prepare and clean exam and treatment rooms between patient visits.
• Schedule surgeries with patients and have them review and sign the correct documents.
• Obtain appropriate patient medical clearances and laboratory results prior to surgery.
• Assist the front office with answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
• Present a positive, professional demeanor in the performance of all duties.
• Be part of an office team approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
