Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients that have abnormal structures of the body caused by congenital defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors, or disease. Performs surgery to improve functions and to approximate a normal appearance. Being a Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice.     Requirements:
    • An active unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice in
    • Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
    Practice Overview:
    • Work: Monday - Friday typical business hours (7am-4pm) No call / No weekends.
    • Physicians deliver wound care at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
    • Physicians round weekly at each facility.
    • Part-time available - Minimum of 3 days per week. Full time - 4 to 5 days per week.
    • Mobile practice: Visit facilities in a 30–50-mile radius of your home.
    • Physician visits 2-3 facilities per day and sees 20-30 patients per day.
    • Document in real-time during rounds with our proprietary niche specific EMR.
    • Training is provided during onboarding. First 4 weeks of employment: 2 weeks of virtual training and 2 weeks of rounding with a physician in the area you are looking to practice.
    • Contract is a 2-year engagement.
