The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is searching for a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon to join a team of three.

Clinical responsibilities include participating in the care of urogynecology patients at the UW Hospital and Clinics and Meriter Hospital, including full-time call for in-patient female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery consults and service. The incumbent will participate in opportunities for community service at the department, school, and institution levels appropriate to the faculty rank.

The faculty member will be an active participant in the clinical, research, and academic service in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The preferred candidate will be an outstanding vaginal and laparoscopic or robotic urogynecologic surgeon with interest in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team at the Women's Pelvic Wellness Program, and participating in urogynecologic research. Academic responsibilities include participation in teaching programs related to medical students, residents and fellows, including responsibilities in the simulation lab developing advanced skills and metrics for residents. The candidate is also expected to oversee the training of residents in the operating room, clinic, and inpatient unit and will also participate in the training of department fellows.

The chosen applicant will participate in administrative, and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

The chosen candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
