Performs surgery to improve functions and to approximate a normal appearance. Being a Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Applicant will divide time between our office in Greenwich, CT and Danbury, CT.

Education:
Competitive candidates will hold a high school degree or higher, preferably with some coursework, or work experience, in healthcare.
The successful candidate will:
· Register new patients and update existing patient information by collecting detailed demographic and insurance information
· Answer telephone calls with a polite, welcoming, and compassionate demeanor
· Schedule and reschedule patient office appointments and coordinate phone calls from healthcare providers and insurance companies
· Receive incoming correspondence and review/forward to appropriate staff
· Chaperone with patient exams and assist physicians with in-office procedures
· Provide excellent customer service over the phone and via email, while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy practices
· Schedule surgeries, hospital admissions, tests, scans and outside appointments for patients
· Assist billing department with daily operations and accounts receivable
Position is full time, Monday – Friday.
Salary and Terms of Employment: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
