Pay Rate :

The pay rate for this job is $14.75 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Plastic Cutter :

Ability to work with hand tools.

• Trim excess material or cut threads off finished products, such as cutting loose ends of plastic off a manufactured part for a smoother finish.
• Read work orders to determine dimensions, cutting locations, and quantities to cut.
• Trim the part to shape and form to the size following the model and utilizing a power saw or power grinder.
• Mark or discard items with defects such as snags, chips, scratches, or unacceptable shapes or finishes.
• Read work orders or examine parts to determine which parts or sections of products are required to be trimmed.
• Remove or trim excess material from products, using knives, scrapers, or band saws.
• All other duties assigned by management.

Available shifts :

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekend

Job requirements :

• Knowledge of manufacturing operation and quality processes preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and effectively at a rapid pace.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work with hand tools.
• Ability to maintain a clean work area.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Monitor safety and quality
