Facial plastic surgery Clinical Assistant (RN, LPN, CMA)
We are a ~ 9 month-old Facial Plastic Surgery practice of 1 physician and 1 aesthetician. Our physician is Dr. Cooper Scurry. I have been in practice for 15 years and we are seeking an experienced clinical assistant who is either a nurse or certified medical assistant.
Our young and exciting practice is growing quickly. I practice facial plastic surgery and see patients for all facial cosmetic and reconstructive needs. I perform facelifts, necklifts, browlifts, rhinoplasty, upper and lower blepharoplasty, laser procedures, skin cancer reconstructions, repair of facial fractures. I also see patients for minimally invasive procedures such as Botox and other injectables and fillers. I have been in practice in Winston-Salem for ~ 15 years.
My nurse during these first 6 months of our practice has been phenomenal but she is wanting to continue her nursing education. We hope that she will be able to continue working during this time, but we will need more clinical help.
My nurse currently wears many hats. She also currently serves as my ‘patient care coordinator’ by scheduling all patient surgeries and making sure patients are cleared and ready for surgery.
This role also includes assisting with regular office procedures and therefore requires some experience with sterile technique and an enjoyment for assisting with surgery.
Our office absolutely requires great team-work, communication, collaboration and willingness to help in all ways.
I am hopeful to hire someone interested in both helping us to grow our young practice and someone who would aspire to grow with our young practice.
This could be a part-time or full-time position. This could be a part-time position that grows into a larger and full-time position.
Pay and benefits will be based on years of experience and the position agreed upon (part-time versus full-time).
