Surgeon - Trauma examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats critically injured patients. Performs emergency procedures including endotracheal tube intubation, tube thoracostomy, pericardiocentesis, ultrosonographic evaluation, and peritoneal lavage. Being a Surgeon - Trauma reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Trauma may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. About the Role
As a Trauma Sales Associate, you will work with a high degree of intensity and commitment to support sales of Stryker Trauma products that meet our customers' most pressing needs. Under the supportive supervision of a Trauma Sales Representative, you will gain exposure to the proven wining Stryker Trauma team culture that delivers industry-leading results. You will receive best-in-class formal training on our Trauma product portfolio and sales methodology. This includes on-the-job training in the operating room. You will become an expert on surgical procedures by observing well-over 300 medical procedures in your first year. You will develop a high level of competency in orthopedic surgical needs and procedures and become a valuable member of the surgical team who positively impacts surgical outcomes. You will be comfortable being on call most nights and weekends. You will become a trusted partner to our clients through your focus on client service, excellent account management, and commitment to our mission of improving healthcare.

- Demonstrate motivation for sales: Show drive to reach sales goals and business targets.
- Basic computer literacy: Proper use of email, Microsoft Office, and any relevant software applications/platforms.
- Reading comprehension and written communication: Read and comprehend work-related documents, particularly medical product specifications and training materials. Communicate effectively as appropriate for the needs of internal and external (i.e. patient and customer) audiences.
- $65,600 - $101,800 salary plus bonus eligible Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
