Surgeon - Trauma examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats critically injured patients. Performs emergency procedures including endotracheal tube intubation, tube thoracostomy, pericardiocentesis, ultrosonographic evaluation, and peritoneal lavage. Being a Surgeon - Trauma reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Trauma may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Position Purpose
Our current part-time positions are hybrid, in-person and virtual, for evenings and weekends and you can choose your schedule within those times. We are a group practice dedicated to helping people heal trauma and find personal healing and growth. We invite you to bring your own specialty to the group and add to the specialized experience of our team including working with the LGBTQIA community, survivors, first responders and military, gender/sexuality, grief, EMDR, teens, and more! Each counselor on our team helps create a space for healing and support for all of our clients. We also support one another to create a rewarding and meaningful workplace. We provide a private practice feel while we take care of all of the back office work so you can focus on what you enjoy, clients, counseling, and work/life balance!

Compensation: Percentage split of gross income received for services provided. Begins at 50/50 for part-time positions and increases based on experience, education, and certifications/licenses.
