SAMGI is looking for a General Surgeon with Trauma experience to join our dynamic team of Trauma and Acute Care Surgeons at a teaching level II Trauma hospital in Bakersfield, CA.

Position Details:

• Location: Bakersfield, CA
• Full-time with benefits
• Join a team of experienced surgeons with Surgical Critical Care expertise.
• Supported by well-trained PA's/NP's.
• Academic community hospital with wide range of subspeciality support.
• No billing or coding – focus on being a surgeon

Requirements

• BE/BC in General Surgery
• Must have California State Medical License
• Surgical Critical Care Fellowship is a bonus
• Proven record of clinical excellence and enjoy a collaborative working environment
• Previous experience in ACS verified Level I or II trauma program preferred
• Interest in teaching
