• Position will have no contact with patients
• Position will be 100% remote after orientation (Unless already qualified, then will be 100% remote from day 1)
  

SUMMARY OF POSITION :
Responsible to supervise the trauma data collection process and maintain Hospital Trauma Registry (Collector) from service activity, logs, and trauma patient charts for injury research, epidemiology, and quality improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 to 2 years of experience related to medical record abstraction.

Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

Knowledge of medical terminology required.

RHIT and/or RHIA preferred.
