Responsibilities

• Perform scans such as carotid duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial, Doppler and imaging, abdominal aorta duplex imaging, lower and upper extremity venous
• Recognize the significance of all structures visualized on the monitor and is able to differentiate normal from abnormal and recognize artifacts
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Completion of an Accredited Vascular Tech
• Program and certification as RVT or eligible
• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and ARDMS Eligible
• RVT or RVS certification or registry or eligible. If eligible, must become registered within 12 months of hire.
• ARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligible
• Full State of New Mexico licensure within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certified

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• One (1) year experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
