Pacific Vascular Institute is a growing leader in vascular services. We provide in-person patient consultation and treatment for venous and arterial disease. We currently serve patients across the state of Hawaii including Oahu, the Big Island, and Maui.

Essential Functions:

• Set up exam rooms, check-in patients, and prepare patients for their scheduled procedures.
• Assists Providers as needed.
• Obtain vital signs. Reports significant findings and pertinent patient observations to clinic physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse.
• Perform clerical duties, which include answering phones, scheduling, verifying insurance, scanning/sending reports, referrals, etc, and obtaining pre-authorizations.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• All the duties noted above.
• Primary point of contact at their assigned office.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience: Preferred

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 2 years (Strongly recommended)

Job Type: Full-time

• Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
