Requirements / Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Surgical Technologist and experience desirable
• Must be able to be on call some weekends, holidays and after hours on a rotation
• BLS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Responsibilities

• Assist in draping patient and passing instruments to surgeon; document and report any problems with instruments or equipment
• Maintain required patient records and documentation 
• Set up O.R. with proper equipment and supplies
• Clean and prepare O.R. for next case including instrument cleaning and disinfecting; perform terminal cleaning at the end of the day
