TITLE: Surgical Technologist 

LOCATION: Rochester, MN (Onsite) 

STATUS:  Full-Time 

SCHEDULE:  M-F, 8-hour shifts | 7a, 9a, 11a shift starts, OVERTIME as needed, No weekends, No Call.

PAY RANGE: $35.00-$56.00 Per Hour 

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attends the surgeon and surgical team peri-operatively to provide for optimum peri-operative experience.

• Knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety and sterile technique.
• Capable of rapid accurate reactions; concern for quality patient care; communicates and works effectively with various levels of personnel; stands and walks major portion of work schedule; moderate to heavy lifting required; exposure to cuts, burns, infection, biohazardous chemicals and x-ray.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Neurology
• Cardiovascular
• Aseptic Technique
• X-Ray

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
• Graduate of an accredited and/or hospital approved Surgical Technician program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Surgical Technologist Certification
