Excellent opportunity for an Inventory Analyst at our manufacturing facility in Athens, TX.

What you will do:

The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize inventory management. This role will work closely with Planning, Purchasing and Operations to ensure inventory accuracy and availability to meet customer demand.

• Monitor inventory levels and identify trends to optimize the desired inventory levels.
• Develop and utilize inventory reports that show trends in all inventory levels in Finished Goods, Sub-Assemblies, Raw Materials and E&O for different sites/warehouses. Work with Finance to execute E&O disposition for scrapping monthly.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
• Identify and make suggestions to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory forecasting and planning.
• Develop processes and procedures for creating a month end close relating to Inventory activities and E&O disposition.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field.
• 5 years of experience in inventory management or related field.
• PC proficient with such programs as MS Word, Excel, Power Point and QAD.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities. Position requires an ability to function with a sense of urgency while maintaining a participative environment and positive attitude. Must possess the interpersonal skills to enhance teamwork and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Ability for occasional travel may be necessary.
