Job Description

We seek a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our fast-paced, multi-project studio. You will play a pivotal role in creating consumable insights to guide the team in making key decisions and informing core assumptions. This role will be critical in shaping our new data team culture at Misfits. 

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Guide data analysis methodologies, experiment design, and data visualization.
• Develop dashboards and other visual tools to understand and measure success metrics—additionally, partner with product management to identify actionable insight. 
• Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights, enabling game teams to make informed decisions about game mechanics, features, and key assumptions.
• Work closely with creative teams to help define project objectives and formulate an approach to measuring these objectives.
• Develop experiment plans as part of the go-to-market effort of a product release. 
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the application of data in our game development process.
• Other Game Development Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a data analyst role, preferably within the gaming industry.
• Understanding and passion for the gaming industry, with previous experience analyzing player behavior, segmentation, and game performance.
• Proficient in using data analysis tools, such as Tableau, GameAnalytics, or related platforms. Experience in SQL, Python, or other relevant languages.
• Experience visualizing or translating data in a way that can be readily actioned upon or understood by a broad range of stakeholders.

This is currently a full-time remote position. Must be able to relocate to either Seattle, WA, or Boca Raton, FL, in Q4 2024.
