  • Job Function:  Assist the Director of FP&A with the Company’s financial planning process, including the development of the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and longer-term financial plans.  Develop cost analysis for new products.

     

     

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    1. Assist with timely and accurate financial closing and reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual basis). 
    2. Provide financial analysis, reporting and decision-making support for all department heads and key business activities including answering financial questions regarding revenue, expenses, budget, productivity, staffing, new lines of business, etc.
    3. Prepare monthly variance analysis for all key accounts
    4. Assist in the development of annual operating budgets for all departments that are submitted to the Executive Committee and Shareholders for approval.
    5. Prepare cost sheets for all new products.
    6. Responsible for proper accounting for inventory including calculation of reserves, reconciliation of perpetual inventory to general ledger.
    7. Analyze inventory variances each month including labor variances, material usage variances, etc.
    8. Other duties as assigned.

     

     

     

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

     

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.  Master’s Degree preferred. 
    2. Seven years of finance or accounting experience with progressive experience in financial planning.
    3. Experience in financial management of a manufacturing facility preferred. 
    4. Cost accounting experience preferred
    5. Superior problem solving, mathematical, analytical, team building, and decision making skills.
    6. Exceptionally well organized and superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    7. Proficient computer software and database skills.
    8. Exceptional business and financial acumen.
