Switchboard Operator operates a switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls. Answers incoming calls and basic questions, transfers calls to extensions, and responds to emergency situations as necessary. Being a Switchboard Operator monitors the phone system's efficiency and performs routine troubleshooting. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Switchboard Operator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Switchboard Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Looking for someone with Reception, hospitality, with a good technical ability.
You will Greet guests, answer phones and emails, triage our job ticketing tool, help with copy, mail, supply, and hospitality requests.
There is some extensive lifting standing and walking involved. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Anything heavier will be a team lift.
Typically Required: - High school diploma required.
Three (3) years of related business experience preferred, strong preference for Admin and switchboard experience particularly in a law firm/legal environment.
Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
MS Office Suite experience, specifically Word and Excel.
Excellent customer service skills and detail oriented.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.

Ability to work with Technical equipment.
