ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Operate telephone system by answering and appropriately distributing incoming calls and providing general information.  Must be able to listen to the caller, determine the reason for the call and forward to the appropriate department, area or person.. 
• Greet visitors, notify the person they are seeing, and assist them in locating that person or area.
• Maintain current list of phone extensions for new and existing employees in all locations.
• Receive hand delivered envelopes and packages and notify recipient, as appropriate.
• Receive work orders for Stephens facilities maintenance and housekeeping personnel and relay requests in a timely manner.
• Receive and log work orders for property management maintenance and relay requests in a timely manner.
• Validate parking tickets for guests of Stephens with appropriate department numbers
• Train relief switchboard operators.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude at all times and understand the rules of confidentiality as a member of the Human Resources staff.
• Order flowers and supplies, as needed, and maintain a basic first aid kit.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE                                             

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years of related experience and/or training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
