Responsible for answering a multi-line phone system and directing calls to the appropriate departments and persons. Greets patients upon entrance to the hospital. Reports to the Patient Access Supervisor. Answers the telephone in a polite manner and communicates information to the appropriate personnel/family member. Directs incoming calls to patients within the hospital, calls to various departments and overhead paging when required. Directs patients to appropriate areas in the hospital.
