We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Job Title: Receptionist/Security Assistant

Job Purpose:

Conducts access control. Processes in and directs visitors, employment applicants, salespersons and customers to appropriate locations and parties. Typically operates a single or multiple position telephone system. Maintains a visitors’ log and issues badges when necessary. Notifies personnel of visitor arrival. May perform security related clerical work. May use company intranet, paging or other computer-based systems. Additional duties may include filing, sorting, mail distribution and completing special security projects. Prevent theft of company and employee property by ensuring movement of property has appropriate paperwork.

Natural of Duties:

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defense SECRET security clearance
• Knowledgeable of Document Control(s) for classified and unclassified material; familiar with security operations, access control processing, visitor control, and coordination for new hire processing.
• Proficient typing skills are required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Possess positive attitude; resourcefulness, perseverance, willingness to meet commitments; flexibility and adaptability to change. 
• Ability to react calmly under certain emergency circumstances.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of related experience
