Community Health Care is currently looking to fill the role of a Switchboard Operator that supports all of our clinics!

As the Switchboard Operator, you will receive and distribute incoming phone calls along with other administrative duties.

*WORK FROM HOME AFTER 6 MONTHS, TRAINING ON-SITE IN THE EAST MOLINE CLINIC*

Switchboard Operator Responsibilities:

• Assists all incoming calls and directs them as appropriate.
• Exhibits professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
• Updates addresses in the computer from returned mail.
• Updates list of all staff extensions and frequently called numbers.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks such as scanning front desk paperwork, etc.
• Displays a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with patients, vendors, and fellow employees. Strives to build cooperative partnerships, by treating all people both inside and out of CHC as a customer.

Experience: Equivalent of one year of full-time experience as a switchboard operator, receptionist, secretary or clerk, preferably in a medical office setting.
