Who We’re Looking for

Are you an experienced Sr.QA Engineer who thrives in ensuring the highest standards of software quality? We're seeking a detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust testing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, adept at both manual and automated testing methodologies. You should excel in analyzing complex systems, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions. Your goal is to be an expert at testing software, with experience in testing systems across various environments such as CMS, web applications, and mobile applications. You will gain experience with UI automation testing tools and best practices and will take a critical role in establishing our QA processes and key metrics. Reports to: QA Manager

This role will include:

• Creating, maintaining, and executing detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough testing of the product to identify defects and verify functionalities.
• Collaborating with product managers, developers, and designers to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Documenting and tracking defects, providing detailed reports to facilitate issue resolution.
• Actively contribute to process improvement in the team and across teams. You have the opportunity to innovate and invent new test approaches or propose improvements to our existing processes and automation system to improve the team's velocity and efficiency. 
• Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance.
• Act as a customer advocate by ensuring that products meet customer expectations for usability, reliability, and performance.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Experience with scripting languages like Ruby, Python for test automation.
• Expertise in utilizing test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium.
• Prior experience with the SIS (Student Information System) or Ed-tech industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with issue tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with test automation and testing frameworks is a plus
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.

The salary range for this role is:  $80,000 - $95,000 DOE
