Systems Administrator maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems. Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance to promote uptime and efficient performance. Being a Systems Administrator acquires, installs, and tests system software upgrades and computer components. Configures software and resolves technical problems. Additionally, Systems Administrator maintains documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Administrator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Systems Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Perform day-to-day troubleshooting, deploy system updates, testing/coordinate new feature rollouts, and identifying new opportunities within the application to meet Credit Union growth and strategic goals.
Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Business preferred. 1 years of experience with relevant IT lending systems. 1 years of experience working in projects, troubleshooting systems, and/or loan applications required. IT certifications preferred. Jira, Agile, and/or other project experience preferred.
Performance Standard:
Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Broad knowledge of hardware, software, and programs. Maintain a broad knowledge Mortgage industry. Ability to learn quickly, contribute to a team effort and work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously. Logical, process-oriented thinker with a natural sense of urgency. Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort. Ability to prioritize, meets deadlines, and manages changing priorities with limited direction. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
