Position Overview:

We are seeking a proficient and experienced Linux System Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux operating systems, networking concepts as related to servers, troubleshooting, and experience in maintaining enterprise-level IT infrastructures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems and services.
• Maintain and optimize DNS (Domain Name System) services for efficient domain resolution.
• Monitor and manage DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) services for IP address allocation.
• Oversee and support Telecom systems, including VoIP technologies and telecommunication infrastructure.
• Implement security measures to protect systems and data from potential cyber threats.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot any system-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support and troubleshoot system-related issues.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or proven experience working as a Linux System Administrator in a mid-sized to large organization supporting enterprise and or residential customers.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and server technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
•  Understanding of DNS, Nginx , DHCP, or work with Telecom systems.
•  Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools to streamline system processes.
•  Hands-on experience with email server configuration and administration.
•  Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, CompTIA Linux ).
