Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team at our facility in Lapeer MI. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience in the field for 2 - 5 years. This will be a salary position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administration of overall IT Infrastructure vision for the region.
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
• Effectively communicate and work with every level of employee.
• Develop, maintain, and implement disaster recovery plans on an annual basis.
• Perform coaching and professional development for IT Infrastructure staff.
• Responsible for overall network security from a technical perspective.
• Responsible for the uptime of all network and server based systems.
• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet
• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, cameras, door locks, software deployment, security updates and
• Responsible for successful data backups and tape rotations.
• Monitor networks to ensure security and availability.
• Implement continuous improvement projects that are technical in nature.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
• Five to ten years of prior system and network engineering experience, preferably with a background in the automotive industry
• 2 – 5 years IT Project Management experience preferred.
• Experience leading and managing IT infrastructure & staff across multiple physical locations
• Hands-on experience with IT equipment, including servers, networks, telecom, and cloud services
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure hardware and maintenance

You should be proficient in:

• ISO 9001 Certification Experience
• High-level Operations Analysis
• IT Equipment (Servers, Networks, Telecom, Cloud)
• IT Compliance Requirements (CCPA, GDPR)
• IT Infrastructure Hardware Experience
• ISO 14001 Certification Experience
• Bachelor's Degree
