  • Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Systems Administrator for our client located in Tallahassee, FL.

    This work is on-site. A hybrid-type role may be considered for the right candidate after the initial training period is completed.

    Job Overview:

    Helpdesk Support

    • General IT troubleshooting
    • Install and maintain any non-mobile equipment
    • Maintain backups of critical systems for recovery
    • Install approved software
    • Provide remote assistance
    • Virus/Malicious Software removal
    • Create and maintain hardware images
    • Grant Users access to the company software programs
    • Assist new users with account setup
    • Systems Training

    Asset Management

    • Catalog equipment
    • Coordinate Logistics of Equipment
    • Maintain an up to date list of all client/employee issued equipment
    • Ensure client equipment is returned and the receipt is generated and stored when necessary

    Office 365 Administration

    • Create and maintain users' accounts
    • Create and maintain SharePoint Portals
    • Create and maintain SharePoint Permissions
    • Maintain an up to date list of all SharePoint Permissions
    • Create and maintain SharePoint Document Libraries, Lists, etc.
    • Develop custom SharePoint list forms
    • Perform regular SharePoint Backups
    • Create and maintain Exchange mailboxes and aliases
    • Create and maintain Exchange Distribution Groups
    • Create and maintain Exchange Mail Flow Rules

    Website Administration

    • Manage the Hosting Service
    • Modify images and other content for use on the website
    • Upload changes to the TEST environment
    • Perform backups of the website on an as-needed basis
    • Deploy approved changes from the TEST environment to the PRODUCTION environment.

    Miscellaneous

    • Pricing analysis for new equipment and other IT related purchases
    • Research various software to improve efficiency and security
    • Procurement of new IT-related equipment
    • Manage the Adobe account and its users
    • Manage the Conference call service

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years in a Systems Administration role & in the below areas
      • General IT troubleshooting
      • Sharepoint Administration
      • Office 365 Administration
      • Active Directory
      • Website updating & maintenance
      • Video & Teleconferencing administration

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in computer science or another related area of study
