Job Description
We are on a digitalization journey to improve our information and cyber security posture. To support that journey, we need a Regional Technical Security Analyst to join our global Security Team. As a Regional Technical Security Analyst, you will work daily to ensure that IT infrastructure is secured. Your ability to blend appropriate risk-based assessment methodology to streamline sec incidents, threats, and vulnerability mitigation in Fugro's IT infrastructure will be a critical success factor.
Job Responsibilities
A proactive member of Self-Managed First Line Defense Team: define the goal, select strategy & tactic, arrange implementation, and control progress.
Participation in deployment and administering Security Tools: SIEM/SOAR, NGFW, VM/SCA, IAM, PAM, EDR
Automation of collection and analysis data from Windows/Linux/Cloud platforms.
Investigating security incidents and performing remediation steps to mitigate those.
Performing Vulnerability Assessment on IT equipment and driving the mitigations activities.
Driving security improvement initiatives on IT infrastructure.
Documenting your activity (guides, playbooks, baselines, etc.)
Able to automate your routine task: scripting, tooling, best practice.
Understanding of organization and typical tasks of modern IT operation and maintenance.
Demonstrating the ability to take ownership and follow up on issues.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and to work well under pressure.
Job Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber ??Security, or equivalent fields.
Master's degree in Security is a plus.
3 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
Industry certifications like CISSP, Security , CySA , or similar are a plus.
Experience in system administration is encouraged
Good task management skills: proactive, self-organized, bridging stakeholders & 3rd parties
Good knowledge of contemporary IT designs and platforms
Initiative, IT-friendly: propose and contribute, not ban and wait
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures.
